Dear False Positive Readers,
This is Ashley Walton, Mike’s sister and editor of False Positive. I have really terrible, awful news and a tiny bit of good news.
You might have noticed it’s been a couple years since we’ve posted anything on this website. Well, brace yourself for the saddest update I’ll ever share.
As a heads up, your kanji don’t make sense in Japanese. (I am assuming this is Japan given the torii on the title page and the samurai on page 2.) In Chinese, it works, but “sorceress” in Japanese would be 魔術師.
I appreciate your careful eye and mindful heads-up.
I love the fact someone noticed this eccentric detail. The mask and the character wearing the mask have a varied and rich cultural back story.
I welcome any future thoughtful heads-up you might be kind enough to offer.
Thanks for reading and commenting.
Riptorian called it!
I love the mask on the witch. Interesting and creepy detail.
