This is childish play. Celebrating the absurd cartoon gore of pre-Comics-Code-Authority pulp comics, False Positive stories and art can get gruesome in parts.

If you might be sensitive to some content, check out the Dreadfulness Rating System (patent may be pending). Let’s break it down:

1/4 DREADFULS – This story seems pretty safe for most audiences. May contain mildly mature themes or something. Think classic genre anthology television shows like The Twilight Zone and The Outer Limits.

2/4 DREADFULS – May contain mild violence, mild horror creature imagery, language and/or suggestive themes. Think PG-rated movies like Spirited Away, Star Wars: A New Hope, ParaNorman, Monster House, Something Wicked This Way Comes, Beetlejuice, and Twilight Zone: The Movie.

3/4 DREADFULS – May contain some violence, gun violence, mild profanity, moderate horror creature imagery, moderate body horror imagery, and/or suggestive themes. Think PG-13 or 80’s-PG-rated movies like Dune, Gremlins, Poltergeist, Jaws, Red Dawn, Dragonslayer, Temple of Doom, and Princess Mononoke.

4/4 DREADFULS – Things might get gross! May contain over-the-top violence, graphic horror imagery, references to suicide, drug use, partial nudity (butt nudity), some profanity, and/or mature themes. No full nudity. No sexual situations. Think R-rated movies like The Thing, Alien, Pan’s Labyrinth, Final Destination, Event Horizon, The Fly, Slither, Evil Dead 2, Creepshow, Kill Bil Vol.1, and Scanners.
