Dear False Positive Readers,
This is Ashley Walton, Mike’s sister and editor of False Positive. I have really terrible, awful news and a tiny bit of good news.
You might have noticed it’s been a couple years since we’ve posted anything on this website. Well, brace yourself for the saddest update I’ll ever share.
See, what I said, flamethrowers are the cure for what ails you.
hmmm… figured there would be a page before this… (first :P)
It was page 28.
I just watched the 1982 “Thing” about a week ago. Cant help but think of that movie as I read this. This story has to be on of your best btw
John Carpenter’s The Thing is one of my all-time favorite films. I’m even a fan of the pre-makeuel® nobody else liked– yep, I’m the guy.
Definite homaging going on. I only wish I could borrow the soundtrack.
Right on man! The soundtrack is one of the most chilling soundscapes in history.
Why do I have a feeling she’s going to regret going through that door…?
So, was this Brown’s idea? If so, he’s starting to shape out to be your typical sci-fi geek.
I’m enjoying the slight jumps in between in between pages. I like that this story is making the reader fill in some of the blanks (and unanswered questions) as it goes along. I think many of the stories do that, but this one is particularly strong. It’s a pleasure reading your work and looking at your art!
Don’t open the door. You know opening the door is a bad idea.
She didn’t open that door. It’s already open.
