Good News for People Who Like Bad News

Dear False Positive Readers,
This is Ashley Walton, Mike’s sister and editor of False Positive. I have really terrible, awful news and a tiny bit of good news.
You might have noticed it’s been a couple years since we’ve posted anything on this website. Well, brace yourself for the saddest update I’ll ever share.
So, that answers that one, then…!
…what? ok so I guess that’s what happens if they’re recent, but you wouldn’t want to do that with those whose brains are exposed right?
Are you implying they’ve been released? I’m pretty sure that’s the opposite of what happened. I think the severed ends of the tentacle just sprayed goop on the (previously uninfected) closest two humans.
So everyone is going to die then.
So, who’re you gonna call? Well, these aren’t ghosts, but in 20 minutes they’ll be (nuke) busted.
Eh, it’s confusing, but I think what is happening is that the two halves of the split cord are attaching to new hosts. So, a bad thing.
Yeah, they need to jus’ nuke this site and be the hell done with it! No one is escaping this compromised facility here. Literally, the world is at stake if this gets out!
I’d push the button myself were I in this situation.
Seriously, I would have set off the thermite as soon as it became clear that the escaped specimens could use our technology.
It’s not coming off them, those were the two people fighting the alien goo – the woman cut it with her axe, and the two resulting strands attacked her and her partner.
I was thinking we’d gone several pages without anyone getting slimed
Okay, we’ll put the thing you do with the axe in the “Bad Idea” box and never do it again.

It was a tad childish, but I was rather hoping the axe lady was going to make it.
Girl in third panel’s face is broadcasting, “Ugh, this reminds me of Steve. This is why I broke up with you, Steve.”
Hmmm, I may be slow on the uptake here, but now I’ve re read the previous panels and it’s pretty much apparent Miss Agent (Victim No. 2) wanted to talk to Soul Patch Guy, a.k.a Brown, before this all went to Hell. I wonder what that’s all about.
I would say its because Brown was the one who reported the sample missing, and was put in the Holding for that. The one that interests me is the one who “left”.
Right there at the beginning, the Director said that he shipped out on the normal shifting rotation but was being held where he’s at.
