Dear False Positive Readers,
This is Ashley Walton, Mike’s sister and editor of False Positive. I have really terrible, awful news and a tiny bit of good news.
You might have noticed it’s been a couple years since we’ve posted anything on this website. Well, brace yourself for the saddest update I’ll ever share.
I like those “meteors”, nice contrast inbetween black smoke and white-hot fire.
And the landscape looks great too! I’m eager to see my, if my theory fits…
Wait… IS this Exiled from the alien’s perspective? o_o
(I’m mostly kidding, but the resemblance is uncanny, even the color scheme!)
It must have been tough to draw all of those rocks. I’m currently drawing two knitted blankets.
Panspermia?
It could be about the first crash from Exiled…
Then again, i’m no scientist, but that sky looks awfully alien
same aliens different planet maybe?
Hey! Asparaguses, num, num, num…
Your art is so beautiful there’s no way I can be mad about how slow the pace of this comic is. I am pretty pumped about this story coming from the pure high of Frenzy that I can’t wait to see what happens next!
Slow? When we are given a new page almost every day? With no “artist’s break” in-between stories? And the art is still breathtakingly beautiful? I can relate to you not being able to wait and find out what this story is about, but really, this comic’s pace is not slow. There are comics out there who only update once a week, or not at all for several weeks.
There seems to be some kinda force field in the sky…
Rivers of oil…(whole planets are made of petro-chemicals) so-much for fossil fuel!
Humans!
KhAaaaaaaan?
I predict this is a Jesus origin story. The meteor/ship is mistaken to be a “new star” above Bethlehem. The parents on the ship will be critically injured and they will leave their young child with a young, indigenous couple named Joseph and Mary. Joseph and Mary will make up a cover story to explain the “divine” birth. Over time, the young alien Jesus will show remarkable intelligence, strength, and powers that seem miraculous. We will eventually learn that his home planet was destroyed when the planet’s red sun went supernova. Young baby Jesus gains his super powers from our yellow sun. Yes, I predict this is a Jesus/Superman combination story.
