Dear False Positive Readers,
This is Ashley Walton, Mikeās sister and editor of False Positive. I have really terrible, awful news and a tiny bit of good news.
You might have noticed itās been a couple years since weāve posted anything on this website. Well, brace yourself for the saddest update Iāll ever share.
Break over!? WELCOME BACK! š
Thanks. Glad to be back.
So incredibly excited to see this comic continue and that you’re back from hiatus! I hope your summer was excellent and your break allowed you to recharge so you can continue to deliver us the same quality, attention to detail, and amazing art that we’ve come to expect. You do awesome things and you capture us so delightfully. Thank you for being the amazing artist that you are!
Sweet!
A little encouragement goes a long way. Thanks.
Cheers!
Hmm, this didn’t show up in my Feedly list. I wonder if the feed changed somehow. Anyone else have this problem?
It shows up in our feed. Not sure what would cause a glitch like that.

Yeah, I don’t know. The last update I show is Page 22, 73 days ago. I refreshed the feed. Hopefully it will update from now on.
It would seem Feedly may have abandoned us.
That’s not good. We lack the skills/ funds to troubleshoot stuff like that.
We’ve heard tell that a potential remedy for such problems involves the consumption of alcohol.
Well, it showed up in my feed about an hour and a half after I posted my 2nd comment. I hope the alcohol was enjoyed one way or another. Thanks for the comic. I’m looking forward to seeing where it goes.
It worked!
Thanks for reading, subscribing, & alerting us to the problem.
I just wish to say, that is one archaic way of opening a starship door.
I hope that, when I’m stuck outside a crashed spaceship with no power, someone had the good sense to include a manual method of popping the air lock, as a backup. Also useful if your AI isn’t doing what you ask, just ask Dave Bowman…
That is a valid point. The last thing you really want is for there to be no manual override, of some sort… I mean, look at elevators. If you are stuck in one, you are stuck in there for good (assuming there was nobody to help you, that is).
heeeey welcome back!
This just got on my Netvibes feed today, so I guess the alcohol is slowly spreading its effects. Wonderful to see you’re back, really.
Also, hooray for archaic ways of opening doors when the power has gone out / crazy. š
Great to have you back!
Great to have you and everyone back here with me!
Welcome back! Looking forward to more brain-twisting shenanigans! Bring on the eldritch horrors and slimy space monstrosities!
Many thanks. Looking forward to unleashing such shenanigans.
Your return is appreciated, even at two days a week! I sincerely hope that you are working on a revenue stream to make this a full-time (or at least profitable) venture for you. Have you considered Kickstarter? I recently funded a graphic novel there and it was a very enjoyable and exciting experience! Just a thought. š
Anyhow, welcome back, I love your work as always.
Concepts for a crowdsourcing/ crowdfunding campaign are constantly being mulled over, but nothing has been decided yet. It would need to be something special. Maybe the new schedule will allow time for working on it.
Yeah, two days a week seems totally fine, especially for something as high-quality as FP…. I think FP is actually somewhat suited to a slightly slow-paced delivery… more time for dread, the clock ticking (or is that … a heart?), etc, etc. :]
I wholeheartedly agree with Mr. Bader. Somewhat dragging out the anticipation is not a bad thing.
Oh no. You’re back. Sorry, space ladies, your reprieve is over. Get ready to die horribly.
Well here we are again. It’s always such a pleasure.
(this regards the recent updating as well as the latest triumph of woman over machine)
Glad you are back…the “delicate” situation call for wits and speed and it seem the girls got plenty…
You’re BACK?!! Dang… there goes my productivity
