Dear False Positive Readers,
This is Ashley Walton, Mikeās sister and editor of False Positive. I have really terrible, awful news and a tiny bit of good news.
You might have noticed itās been a couple years since weāve posted anything on this website. Well, brace yourself for the saddest update Iāll ever share.
Poor guy. He never had the opportunity to find out that the alien tasted “not unlike pheasant.”
So was it a religious test? He made a jump in logic.
Cool! I like this story.
Its the other alien, in the cell next to him. He (it?) is trying to give a warning!
“Zealots” and “worship” rarely ends well. Could the aliens worship the random space garbage they bring back to life? Or maybe the life-restoration thing is part of their belief system… Then again, it might not be religion at all: the words of warning may simply not translate.
Either way, it seems like pheasant-guy isn’t such a bad chap when you’re not ripping open his spacesuit with a spear.
awesoooomeee maaaan GIF pages totally up for that
Good. I’ve dabbled with GIF pages a bit.
If memory serves, this is the 3rd GIF page.
One is a title page (easy to spot).
And one is fairly subtle.
I don’t think he’s going to like getting redeemed.
Oh great, Space Jehova’s Witnesses.
Looks like the chimp is better off
does the danger lie in not being zealous, or are the colour club so zealous that they are dangerous? worship whom or what? or is it the worship that is dangerous?
My guess is that the aliens see intellect as a sin in other species, and they plan to redeem the astronaut. After all, you don’t need your frontal lobes to live.
It’s one word that has no translation. Maybe the name given to the color-speaking aliens. The telepathic alien in the next cell is warning the human the zealot-redeeming- worshipers are dangerous.
Maybe he was resurrected to be food for that other creature, who will only eat live prey…. oO;
This is a wide shot, but perhaps its something along the lines of ” you should not worship these beings as gods, or to try and redeem yourself, they are only zealots”
as to me it would appear he is trying to redeem himself in the eyes of the chromaphorms believing he has not yet proven his intelligence
So, “Zealots worship redeem”, that’s an ominous warning. Is the alien trying to tell our man that he should not try so hard to impress his hosts? And it seems as if it wanted to tell him more, but either stopped or was made to stop when he was hoiked up again by the grabby device. It also looks positively terrified.
The alien in the other cell is the same kind as in Exile. Am I wrong?
the word, “missionary” comes to mind.
guys this is the same species of aliens that appears in Exile!
