Dear False Positive Readers,
This is Ashley Walton, Mike’s sister and editor of False Positive. I have really terrible, awful news and a tiny bit of good news.
You might have noticed it’s been a couple years since we’ve posted anything on this website. Well, brace yourself for the saddest update I’ll ever share.
“Danger! The alien behind you is reading your notes and cheating!”
Oh, so he’s another of those straight-line heathens!
Probably something along the lines of “Act stupid, or they’ll consider your species a threat and us their stellar xray laser on your planet.”
Mike, FP is so awesome I’m prepared to forgive you almost anything. I hope your unexpected snags will resolve without to much difficulties.
Are we to assume it’s the alien from Exiled that’s “talking?” In Exiled, the only sound it did was when vomiting/coughing up stuff. Considering how quiet that one was when being threatened, it wouldn’t be far fetched that they are telepathic. But, then follows the question, it is the word “danger” that is really sent, or the concept/feeling?
( China Meville’s “Ambassy Town” is a real nice sci-fi book in which the story line circulates around the language of an alien race. )
Earth’s atmosphere might have caused puking and quiet.
It wasn’t an IQ test after all, it was a test to see how tasty the food is. Food that arranges colored balls correctly is tastier food.
The smarter you are, the better pet you make!
The season’s title page suddenly makes sense.
Danger! Danger! If they think you are too smart, they will make you work for a living!
Alien 1: this one thinks in black and white. Blasphemy!
Alien 2: Too bad, I had high hopes for the meat sack in the colorful suit. Ah well, let’s flush him.
first panel: idontgetit. A foot? His jumpsuit leg?

zipper for a tool used in
third, fourth, fifth to carve into the floor. molecular structures, mathematical orders…
ect ect – ok, i get he ist showing his math-skills.
And the cell-neighbour is looking.
The weird thought-tartan-bubble in 10, 11, 12 …is that a psychic klaxon of the zookeepers?
As you do regularly, you leave a lot of things not quite clear.
I like it!
