Dear False Positive Readers,
This is Ashley Walton, Mike’s sister and editor of False Positive. I have really terrible, awful news and a tiny bit of good news.
You might have noticed it’s been a couple years since we’ve posted anything on this website. Well, brace yourself for the saddest update I’ll ever share.
I have a feeling they’re gonna find something besides an apple when they open that door. Ever seen “Timecrimes”? Great time travel movie.
I think you might be right.
Yes, I’ve seen Timecrimes. I thought it was totally engaging and entertaining.
Primer is another good time travel flick.
While I agree with our lovely author here, I will add a footnote to the suggestion of Primer: you have to watch it at least 10 times to get some semblance of understanding. Just a friendly warning from one time-travel buff to another. :3
Whoa. Just found your comic via Raven’s Dojo… I’m totally blown away! I’ll definitely be following your digitally-inked escapades from now on!
“One apple, twice”… lol… love it… ^_^
Sweet! Glad you found the comic and appreciate the support.
Mostly, it pains me that no one else has commented on your use of the phrase “five by five.” Beautiful.
Loving the LCARS interface on the computer screen!
🙂
As cliffhangers go, I think the last panel is a stunner. The way the reporter is grabbing her arm and the cameraman has looked away from his viewfinder shows that the emotion of the situation has overpowered their professional instincts. But you can’t tell if it’s the moment the button is pressed and they’re just apprehensive at witnessing such an historic event, or if it’s a second after the button is pressed and they’re just beginning to react to… whatever has happened.
We all know something is gonna go awfully wrong. I have that feeling you get right before you go down a roller coaster…
