Dear False Positive Readers,
This is Ashley Walton, Mike’s sister and editor of False Positive. I have really terrible, awful news and a tiny bit of good news.
You might have noticed it’s been a couple years since we’ve posted anything on this website. Well, brace yourself for the saddest update I’ll ever share.
That’s what you get for having a foul mouth, Mr. Coyote. There are children present!
Sorry, Dad, but I don’t think it’s “enough” until the evil coyote god is fried, no matter how many SSKKZZZKs you get out of it.
Totally agree.
If it moves, frie it.
If it doesn’t move, frie it just some more.
Goto 10
“Nuke it from orbit .. it’s the only way to be sure.”
“Yeah, but its a dry heat!” – “Shut up, Hudson.”
Eh. I’ve had worse.
Yeah, I remember a few times when Road Runner-god got you pretty badly… This is small potatoes in comparison!
I think you are referring to Wile E. We try not to talk about him at family gatherings. Although the boy can take some lumps, I suppose.
And he had SUCH potential! Certified genius! Or, so the ACME home IQ test his mother purchased suggested. There have been some doubts going around as to its accuracy…
The attitude & disrespect being shown while guested in his very *house*…I swear that their behavior is simply shocking!
Psssh. It’s all a work. This is a plan by the coyote-being. Duh.
Clue #1, it’s a coyote, a trickster being.
Clue #2, this is a horror comic.
I dunno, Mr. Cosmonaut is sneaking in some wizard writing behind Coyote’s back. The crew might actually win this one.
Mr. Cosmonaut is betraying the being who gave him purpose and power, and showed him marvels. I don’t know why the others think he won’t turn on them as well, or that he’s not playing them for his own ends.
Because The Cornetto trilogy’s The World’s End accurately shows that humans are self-destructively disinclined to be bossed around for their own good.
Much as it pains me to admit, in the stories, Coyote does not always have very well-considered plans.
In some of the stories, if coyote happens to be collaborating with one of the other animal spirits (Native American), to pull off a trick, then he’ll usually think of a few bad plans first, but can be guided into a good one by his confidant.
But considering that he never really expected puny humans to get this far into his own Realm, he probably hasn’t consulted with anyone…Unless the cosmonaut there is pulling a double-backstab to end in Coyaote’s favor.
I’m kind of expecting a double-backstab, but who knows?
Sorry, I meant a double-backstab in that he will probably betray everyone on both sides.
Hey what’s Spaceman Spiff scribbling in yon dirt? “Spiff was here” ? “Jenny 867-5309” ?
It’s interesting how the dialog’s starting to go somewhat hive-minde’y between those three.
