Dear False Positive Readers,
This is Ashley Walton, Mikeās sister and editor of False Positive. I have really terrible, awful news and a tiny bit of good news.
You might have noticed itās been a couple years since weāve posted anything on this website. Well, brace yourself for the saddest update Iāll ever share.
Oh god, who now? Incantation baby? The Supplier? Looking back on times when characters spoke completely in a font like that gives me either the spirits from Seance, or the pilgrims from Ache. Or perhaps we’re meeting someone new?
Time to pour back over every comic yet again…
Time well spent at least!
Such detail.
Typo: “foresee many potental” -> potential.
Also, the witch reminds me of Jeri Ryan.
And page 8 reminds me of one of those Angel scenes, where the good guys line up to battle the bad guys.
Thanks for the assist!
IMHO she looks like “Charmed”-era Kaley Cuoco. š
Not just reminding me of Angel … but also of Drowtales (with the red eyes), the nickname “little missy”, for the witch is using the formal version of the title, and the adversary’s weakness which I am guessing is … chocolate. Irrationally destructive creatures of spite always love chocolate. or maybe something out of The Fifth Element. We shall see.
Here’s a thought, they may be fighting one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse or the Angel Gabriel and trying to forestall Final Judgement …
If so, their adversary’s weakness is harpers, harping.
Witch speaks the truth. Yeah Right…
So…
We have Mr. Jones and Mr. Hammet from “Frenzy”.
We also have Zoe and her father wearing the Yolk mask they recovered in Seville.
I’m guessing that’s the blood witch they defeated to free Zoe (“We only brought you back…”)? Looks like she got better, but I’d love to see a footprint on the side of her head š Or is she also Mrs. Chander?
So many possibilities!
The middle fellow… is he from “Concoction”? Again, he appears to be feeling much better. Since we recently saw his suitcase again in “Found In His Hand”, it may not be impossible.
Thanks for producing such beautiful art and intriguing stories that reward re-reading!
