Dear False Positive Readers,
This is Ashley Walton, Mikeās sister and editor of False Positive. I have really terrible, awful news and a tiny bit of good news.
You might have noticed itās been a couple years since weāve posted anything on this website. Well, brace yourself for the saddest update Iāll ever share.
Hah. Probably one of those elder statuettes everyone’s been talking about. They came into vogue in the 1940s, you know.
Uh oh. An ‘artifact’? That could be anything from ancient technology to a symbiotic alien organism. Anyone or anything could be looking for it.
I can definitly see your webcomic turned into a Hitchcock style TV series! Have you ever got any offers, or did you try to sell your ideas? It would be awesome!! š
No TV offers.
I’ve written a few screenplays that never materialized as much.
I’m currently kicking around the the idea of turning one of them into an entire season of False Positive or possibly a novela.
Self-publishing on Amazon is super simple these days. With your following, I would guess fans would jump at paying a few bucks for bonus content, which might place it on the top-seller list in the Horror category, which could lead to more recognition and sales…
I know ever since I’ve started reading, I’ve been thinking to back when I was a little kid and would buy horror story books from the School’s Scholastic Book Stores like Short & Shivery.
Have you considered independent/local film groups?
“less coin but more resolve”
Love this.
oh, i can hear the background music! it’s a slow jazz
Lament-configuration puzzle-box? š
The Maltese Falcon I bet!
If this comic has taught me anything, nothing so prosaic.
The Maltese Ostrich!
That would be buried in the sand somewhere, then….
Never ignore the guts, they tend to fly out of your body when they are not pleased with you.
I am slightly bugged by the lack of smoke coming from people’s cigarettes, especially with so much detail given to everything else. Maybe we’re just seeing these people right before they actually light up?
