     I think those are not burn marks… it is blood. I think the witch casts a spell has a “Dr. Manhattan” vs. “Rohrschach” kind of way.

   Who steals an immortal girl? She’s not much of a curio.

   Then again, if one (ahem) leans in that direction, she does continue to appear to be a little girl forever. So, that’s pretty damn valuable.

     I can think of a few reasons for stealing an immortal girl.
     1. You’re her father.
     2. You wish to study her immortality.
     3. You wish to free her for some gain
     4. You want to be immortal too.

   Pft. Leanings have nothing to do with it. If the girl is immortal, think of the Power inside her blood. For a blood mage that would be an Immense benefit all on it’s own.

    Carrying Piper’s axe from “Stink Eye”… It adds a new wrinkle! Must have some magical qualities, considering it’s counterparts in theat room =)
