False Positive End of Volume One
Dear False Positive Readers,
This is Ashley Walton, Mike’s sister and editor of False Positive. I have really terrible, awful news and a tiny bit of good news.
You might have noticed it’s been a couple years since we’ve posted anything on this website. Well, brace yourself for the saddest update I’ll ever share.
*stands and slow clap* Encore!
All of this, in one book? Where do I buy?
*readies walltet*
5 months later and I see my typo…
Yeah, this is one book I want on my shelf!!!
As Stan Lee said, and I paraphrase here a bit because I don’t remember his exact wording, “Comics are like having a nice pair of boobs in front of you. On the internet, you can look at them, examine them in fine detail if you wish, appreciate their beauty & that’s all well and good. But I prefer to get comics at the store becausse it’s much better to be able to put your hands on them, feel the texture, even enjoy the aroma of them while you also appreciate their beauty.”
EXCELSIOR !
Just caught up and now I really want to go and reread the whole entire thing again. What are the chances of a physical copy, or even a digital one?
This is easily one of the best comics I have read in my life. The storyweaving is amazing, and the art is beautiful.
Wow. Chers!
Ikr, only webcomic Ive truly read besides gone with the blast wave
Bravo, very cool!
Wow. Okay. Last time I was here, you’d only put up the first page or so of this story, with everybody looking out over the destroyed city. Flash forward a couple of years to today, and you’ve finished this off. Amazing stuff. Just fantastic. Congratulations.
So here’s my question: how far out was some of this stuff planned? Like, the guy from the very first story being one of the Final Heroes. Did you have plans at the time to bring him back? Or the Dragon man? Or the woman from Constriction who got turned into the black hole. At what point did you say, “Oh, I can revisit her as a way to get rid of the Big Bad”? Did you get to a point where you were writing stories with a view toward having this over-arching story and building to a finale?
Anyway, I enjoyed the hell out of this and hope we’ll get to see Book 2 at some point. Thanks again.
Just caught up after YEARS of not reading. Absolutely fantastic conclusion!!!
