This is Ashley Walton, Mikeās sister and editor of False Positive. I have really terrible, awful news and a tiny bit of good news.
You might have noticed itās been a couple years since weāve posted anything on this website. Well, brace yourself for the saddest update Iāll ever share.

hahaa you guys were right! lol well it pretty much was the only way he was going to get out of that, but then mike does come up with some pretty bizarre plots and ideas, so I was ready for anything. I sure love this webcomic! keep up the good work Mike. For some reason this one really had me on pins and needles waiting for each new one to come out. He knew he was going to be tired and hungry when he got home, but he’s irritated because NOW he has to wait for her to fix supper. Gosh.
(extends middle finger) “Eat this old man. Next time kill your own alien.”
Nah, it would have been better for the girl to say, “You’re welcome,” just to emphasize the point that he *didn’t* thank her for saving his life.
SURE THING, CAPTAIN GRATITUDE, I’LL GET RIGHT ON THAT.
It all makes sense if you think that he is the Wayfarer, she is the former doctor MacReady he took from a previous storyline, and this is just another form of reality he is taking her through during her training. He isn’t in any real pain, as he can shift forms. She is in a new form, as a child, learning all of the wonders he has to teach her. At least, that’s what it seems like so far. Great story as usual. š
This is EXACTLY what I was thinking, but Mr. Walton seems to have a way of throwing unexpected twists into the mix.
