Dear False Positive Readers,
This is Ashley Walton, Mikeās sister and editor of False Positive. I have really terrible, awful news and a tiny bit of good news.
You might have noticed itās been a couple years since weāve posted anything on this website. Well, brace yourself for the saddest update Iāll ever share.

Yep. It was a totally legit and not-at-all monstrous bear…or lion. Ya know, whichever. They’re basically the same type of critter anyway, right?

Looks like it could be developing some kind of exoskeleton based on the rigid structure around the front of the face. Wonder if the adult will have more armor plating.

I have a creeping suspicion that, despite its bodily proportions, if the pickax would be proportionally say one-tenth of its size the general vibe would go from “how cuuute” to “kill it! kill it!”.
