Dear False Positive Readers,
This is Ashley Walton, Mikeās sister and editor of False Positive. I have really terrible, awful news and a tiny bit of good news.
You might have noticed itās been a couple years since weāve posted anything on this website. Well, brace yourself for the saddest update Iāll ever share.

I stand corrected; apparently the back wall IS shielded against heliotropic energy. So, transmogrify yourself into a newt and go out through the toilet.

According to the discussion of the differences between Magic & Magick in the “Mage: The Ascension” RPG by White Wolf, yeah, Majick with a ‘k’ IS the real deal…
Maybe the holes break the runes and maybe not, but I can’t imagine they’ve been able to test that cell properly. I’d sure hate to be Oprah here.
I’m sure she’ll find a way to escape and take over Oprah’s body!
Why are we so sure she can transform herself? Sure, lot’s of the greek and roman gods were shape shifters, but we don’t know which mythos she belongs to. The nordic aesirs didn’t change much at all (Loki was not aesir, but jotunn)
Erhm, necromancy is magic over dead bodies. I don’t think the term would apply to animating a god.. hmm. interesting though, will be interesting indeed. Great comics so far keep it up !
Perhaps Circi? Sersi? I don’t want to use the web right now (stubborn) but of of the great ancient witches or even a high priestess from the days of Kull the Conquerer.

But well educated pepole with out “real exp” are usually (imo) full of their “Knowledge” as if it were equal to facts and experience.
So if I DID want to rez up a “dead” godling thing then I would want to put “it” into a controllable vessel. In this case an animated (by me) dead body…posessed by the “reanimated or reactivated” godling thingy being.
my careful study shows the RUNES are over the airholes as a separate force field effect.
Having read thru all of these recently, I have to say I’m quite in love. It’s perhaps a bit alarming that so far I haven’t felt grossed out or anything with any of the stories, mostly just… Titillated? Too much internet has made me callous, I guess.
Also, the fact that your linework isn’t superclean and neat and exact all the time is great. It’s a good reminder that things don’t have to be polished to perfection to look good. Makes me feel better about my own wobbly lines (though my art skills are far inferior to yours). Damn these shaky hands…!

With this project, I hoped to explore a raw, urgent style that might better compliment the tone of the stories.
Hello, I just started reading your comics today, and they are very addicting. I really love your drawing style, the realistic looks, the details (e.g. the shine of the blood, or the holes in the glasswall), and your skill for the plot-making. I really, reallly enjoy your work, please keep going like this.
And for my with-watchers: thank you for your comments, they make the whole comic-reading a bunch more interesting, I love hypothesis’. š

Um, just wanna point out, the room is protected by “Ancient Magicks”.
She’s an “Ancient God/goddess”.
So, who created the magicks all those years ago, huh?
Good question.
Also, depending on the myth, Magic(k) is inferior to the power of the God(esses)s themselves.
Might be worth thinking of that.
Aside from that: binding a god into an animated corpse sounds like a good safeguard. If the prisoner gets dangerous, remove the energy from the corpse, instant solution.
I ahve to say, I like this one a lot.
True enough, as far as the old stories go…If it weren’t for the existence of those gods, humans couldn’t use majic(k) at all because it was those same gods who taught them or even outright empowered them in the first place.
