I saw the movie a long time ago; so long ago that I really remember very little of it.
And yet, seeing your rendition of Pumpkinhead, there’s a couple of other things that I keep thinking about:
“In his house at R’lyeh dead Cthulhu waits dreaming.”
“That is not dead which can eternal lie, And with strange aeons even death may die.”
~H.P. Lovecraft, “The Call of Cthulhu”
“I say to you againe, doe not call up Any that you can not put downe; by the Which I meane, Any that can in Turne call up Somewhat against you, whereby your Powerfullest Devices may not be of use.”
~H.P. Lovecraft, “The Case of Charles Dexter Ward”
This thing is riddled with bad design, in particular you could probably kill it with a good blow to the oversized forehead, seems ill armored there.
(GOOOOD!)
Ur? You do realize that any sort of supernatural creature is one which, by nature, is not limited to human laws of physics, don’t you? When Father Merrin first walked into that bedroom, did he laugh, turn around. And say “Aw shucks, ain’t nothing but a little girl! Nothing here to be scared of. Let’s give this brat a spanking and get back home. I don’t wanna miss Monday Night Football!
You can go clout Pumpkinhead in his big-ass forehead with a two-by if you want. Not me. Nope. Unh-uh. And, uh, could you give me a sec to get out of this room before you start? Thanks.
