This representation of Adramalech is rather different from most (which you can see by Googling for images associated with the name) and I’m wondering if it comes from any external source or just your own intuitions. I have to add that it’s a lot more interesting than a guy with a horse’s head, which seems to be the predominant view.
The floating eye is an excellent reference to “the peacock form”, what with the divine/demonic significance of eyes and all that, and his being a high councilor of Hell makes the Roman Senatorial pose (greater in ambition, guile … than Satan”) very effective. The upper skull beheading revealing a perfect lower mouth references the child sacrifice aspect very neatly too. I like it.
Rather Dali does Lovecraft.
How about the partial gear wheel above the eye, looking somewhat like a crown or halo?
