With Google’s baffling announcement to phase out Google Reader, I’d like to share a great article on alternatives via Lifehacker.

I recommend Feedly, pretty good, no migration for the user and I personally like the magazine layout (there are others).

I don’t think a petition (or even the upset Hitler clip-meme) will change Google’s position, but maybe somebody will organize a Kickstarter.
No, but it was funny. And the petition may create more interest from other parties to try to win google reader’s userbase.
The Digg venture might be promising.
An alternative is Piperka.net, which allows you to follow webcomics and shows you when they update, that’s what i use, it’s great!
