    That is a very needle-like arrowhead with a harpoon end – not really a cutting one.
    Is there a need to punch through a lot of fur and have the arrow stick, I wonder?
    Similar arrowheads are sometimes used for relatively armored fish that need to be reeled in.
    And yes, Wendigo (North America’s Yeti!) makes sense. Cannibalism is frightening, well documented, and preserved in our genome as resistance to certain prion diseases. Eek.
