I’m thinking they might be a bit more insistant. They may regret being that insistant.
Agreed. If they don’t back off, Mr. Hammer might show them what their brains look like.
I’m guessing Vuchislav is right about them being a bit more insistent. But I’m also guessing those aren’t your average, run of the day missionaries. I’d guess the hammer-man is in more danger than we first suspect Jerry and Thomas to be.
I think I see where this is headed. The good word will soften “hammer man’s” heart and lead him to the path of sincere repentance.
And then he’ll apologize to the hammer. That bit of hammer-cruelty was pretty horrible, after all.
In retrospect; the angle in second panel makes it seem like hammerguy is peeing on Jerry’s shoes.

Day 23 of 31: "NOW IS YOUR BECOMING. WE HAVE SUCH WONDERS TO SHOW YOU!"
Day 22 of 31: “Son, the greatest trick the Devil pulled was convincing the world there was only one of him.”
Day 21 of 31: “Never trust a demon. He has a hundred motives for anything he does ... Ninety-nine of them, at least, are malevolent.”
