While Google Reader lays on its deathbed, many folks have found themselves searching for reader alternatives. I thought I’d take a moment to quell your oncoming withdrawals and introduce the usefulness of a couple great webcomic specific readers. Whether you follow one comic (False Positive, right?) or a hundred, using a webcomic reader can enhance your reading experience.
I’m aware of two stellar readers that are specifically designed for tracking and reading your favorite webcomics: Ink Outbreak and Comic Rocket. Both readers work really well for me. They allow you to easily create a profile to collect and track a library of your favorite titles. You can even earmark pages in each webcomic, to mark where you leave off reading. Try them out and let me know what you think.
If you use another great webcomic reader, please share in the comments. I’d love to hear about what’s out there.

Many False Positive readers use Google Reader for keeping up to date on their favorite websites.
With Google’s baffling announcement to phase out Google Reader, I’d like to share a great article on alternatives via Lifehacker.
I didn’t see every film that came out last year, but I saw quite a lot of them. There was much fun to be had in theaters in 2012. Reviews and synopses for all of these films are readily available online; I’m just offering my recommendations. The films I most enjoyed last year:
6. Chronicle “I’m an apex predator!”
5. Safety Not Guaranteed “I don’t know, I’m not a freakin’ stormtrooper.” (Now available via Netflix Streaming.)
4. Moonrise Kingdom “I love you, but you don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Shit just got surreal.
I’m leaning towards this being a simulation:
-second robber asks what their “play is”
-general lack of shit given by everyone there
-obvious immortality and resetting of world (bullet holes disappear or everyone would be swiss cheese by now acting like this)
Still I love having no idea about whats going to happen as usual, great writing to accompany great art man, i love it.

I like the sounds people make when they get shot (ACK, BLEH, UGH, ERG). It reminds me of the old Batman series.
Now THAT is a piercing! Don’t think I’ll get one of those myself though. Queue story twists….now
It is quite clear. The immature language that sounds nothing like people would in this actual situation. The coincidental playout that has everyone playing a part like a tv show. The rediculous noises they make when they die. They’re just a bunch of kids playing cops and robbers. It is illustrating how terrible the reality of what we imagined as children really is.
